Bob Vila’s Home Again: Featuring R.P. Marzilli & Company

In 1993, R.P. Marzilli & Company had the unique opportunity to be featured on Bob Vila’s Home Again, a nationally syndicated television show that brought home design and construction into living rooms across the country. The episode, titled “Ranch Expansion – Landscaping and Planting”, aired in early 1994 and showcased a home on Lake Cochituate in Wayland, Massachusetts.

Landscape Architect Clara Batchelor of CBA Landscape Architects invited our team to collaborate, and together with Bob Vila and Bob Marzilli, they discussed plant selection and design approaches for the project. Viewers also had the chance to see our crew in action during the installation process.

For our company, the experience was both exciting and humbling. It allowed us to share our work with a national audience and highlight the artistry and care that goes into every landscape we build.

The project remains a memorable milestone in our company’s history, marking one of the first times our work reached a national platform.
